Natasha Ritsma

Curator, Loyola University Museum of Art

Natasha Ritsma is the curator of the Loyola University Museum of Art in Chicago. Since starting her position at LUMA in 2016, she has curated nine photography exhibitions featuring the work of artists such as Jeffery Wolin, Gregory Beals and Tonika Lewis Johnson. Forthcoming projects include a Steve Schapiro Retrospective opening in February of 2019. She holds a PhD from Indiana University, Bloomington and a MA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ritsma is most interested in documentary and conceptual photography, especially work that focuses on socially engaged visual storytelling.
