2025 FILTER PHOTO FESTIVAL

Filter Photo Festival is a multi-day celebration of photography that takes place every September in Chicago. The 2025 Festival will be held September 17th – 20th at the Columbia College Chicago Student Center, centrally located downtown in proximity to museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions.

Programming includes portfolio reviews, exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, and other career-building initiatives to support artists engaged with photography. Registration for portfolio reviews and workshops opens on May 21st for Filter Photo Members, and on May 28th for the general public. All other programming is free and open to the public.
